Assistance with Daily Life Tasks in a Group or Shared Living Arrangement
We provide you assistance with, or supervision of, tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, with a focus on developing the skills of you to live as autonomously as possible. The support is provided to you living in the shared arrangement in accordance with your need. We can help you learn new skills that will enable you to do things independently, participate in the community and develop daily living routines.
We can assist with developing skills such as:
- Cooking for yourself and others
- Planning menus and learning about nutrition
- Cleaning and washing
- Shopping
- Paying bills, setting routines, and meeting other responsibilities
We provide assistance with:
- Self-care and personal support
- Self-care assistance (dressing, showering, toileting, continence support, grooming, administering medication, feeding)
- Light cleaning
- Household activities and meal preparation
- One-on-one support for children
- Sleepover support
